You can use CyberGhost with Vuze. The VPN provider offers P2P servers for smooth torrenting and downloading anonymously.

Plus, with 87 global servers dedicated to torrenting, including one in China, you can connect to a nearby location to download files securely without drastically reducing connection speeds.

You can also use CyberGhost’s military-grade encryption to protect and mask other Vuze activities like DVD burning, online chats, and video play.

Read on to see how to set up CyberGhost with Vuze.

Can I Seed Torrents With CyberGhost and Vuze?

CyberGhost doesn’t offer port forwarding and can’t be used to seed torrents on Vuze.

For seeding on Vuze, I recommend PrivateVPN.

PrivateVPN has servers in 63 countries, all P2P-friendly. Plus, it offers static and dynamic port forwarding options. So, you can lean on the stability of the latter or the privacy of the former depending on the priority of your seeding needs.

The ports can then be shared with Vuze to open connections and enhance seeding priority.

Note my share ratio is climbing successfully:

Can I Bind CyberGhost to Vuze for No IP Leaks?

You can bind CyberGhost to Vuze for no IP leaks if you feel CyberGhost’s kill switch isn’t a bulletproof solution.

Here’s how:

  1. Ensure you have a CyberGhost subscription and have downloaded the app.
  2. Connect to a CyberGhost torrenting server.
  3. Open Vuze. Click Tools Options.

CyberGhost Not Working With Vuze?

CyberGhost not working with Vuze could be from P2P protocols getting blocked on CyberGhost servers in the USA, Russia, Singapore, Australia, and Hong Kong.

As a rule of thumb, connect to a server under “For torrenting,” but avoid the unsupported regions mentioned above. This way, you get a faster, more robust torrenting connection.

For example, I connected to an unsupported server in Albania. Note the poor “yellow” status of my torrent.

This file took 5 minutes and 30 seconds to download.

After reconnecting to a P2P server for torrenting (also in Europe), I downloaded the same file, which finished in 2 minutes and 15 seconds.

Note my download’s “green,” healthy status using the P2P server.

Furthermore, ensure you’re connected to OpenVPN. Open your CyberGhost app, click Settings > CyberGhost VPN, and choose OpenVPN from the drop-down menu.

If the above doesn’t work, try one or more of the following troubleshooting methods:

Refresh or Upgrade Apps

If an upgrade’s not due, refresh or reset the applications. For CyberGhost, simply log out and back in. For Vuze, click Tools > Options > Mode > Reset to clear interfering configurations.

Check TAP Adapter Settings

Ensure CyberGhost is enabled as a TAP adapter. If it isn’t, disconnect CyberGhost, click your Windows settings icon, and select Network & Internet > Change adapter options.

Right-click on “Windows adapter V9” and disable the feature. Then, enable it again. Reconnect to your VPN, and the CyberGhost adapter setting should reflect.

Other troubleshooting applications include clearing the cache or using Chrome Incognito mode to rule out browser cookies as interferences. Some users also had success using the IP binding steps I shared above!

If all fails, use CyberGhost’s chat feature to ask an agent for a solution.
