NordVPN Military Discount 2026: Extra 15% for Military, Teachers & Healthcare

NordVPN gives military personnel an extra 15% off its 2-year deal, and the same discount goes to teachers, healthcare professionals, first responders, students and graduates, worldwide. You prove your status through Student Beans, NordVPN’s verification partner, and the 15% comes off the 2-year plan’s already discounted price: roughly $80 instead of $94.23 for 27 months of Basic, before tax. It is the only extra discount NordVPN offers beyond its public deals, and it cannot be combined with a coupon code.

Checked on NordVPN’s student and employee discount page and its US checkout on 7 November 2026. The button opens NordVPN’s deal page; the occupation discount is claimed through NordVPN’s own discount page, as described below.

Who Qualifies for NordVPN’s Extra 15%

NordVPN’s discount page lists six groups and says the offer “applies worldwide”:

Group	NordVPN’s wording	Typical proof Student Beans asks for
Military	Military officers	Service ID or proof of current service
First responders	First responders	Employer ID or proof of employment
Healthcare	Healthcare professionals	Professional ID, registration or payslip
Teachers	Teachers	School or institution ID, or proof of employment
Students	Students	Student ID or enrolment proof
Graduates	Graduates	Proof of graduation within the period Student Beans sets

The proof column describes what verification services usually request; the exact documents depend on your country and on Student Beans’ current rules. If you are a student, our NordVPN student discount guide walks through that route step by step.

What You Pay With the Discount

The 15% comes off the 2-year deal, which already carries NordVPN’s biggest discount. Our arithmetic from the 7 November US prices, before tax; the checkout shows the exact total:

Plan (2 years + 3 months)	Public price	About 15% off	Then renews at
Basic	$94.23 ($3.49/mo)	about $80 ($2.97/mo)	$139.08 a year
Complete	$107.73 ($3.99/mo)	about $92 ($3.39/mo)	$219.48 a year
Prime	$188.73 ($6.99/mo)	about $160 ($5.94/mo)	$296.28 a year

Two things to know. The discount applies to the first term only; renewals are charged at the normal yearly price, which our NordVPN renewal discount guide explains how to handle. And it applies to the 2-year plan: NordVPN’s page attaches the offer to its 2-year deal, so do not expect 15% off a monthly plan.

How to Claim the Discount

Open NordVPN’s student and employee discount page (nordvpn.com/student-employee-discount) and pick your group: military, first responder, healthcare, teacher, graduate or student.
Verify with Student Beans. The page hands you to Student Beans’ hosted verification for NordVPN; sign in or create a Student Beans account and upload the proof it asks for. Verification is usually instant, sometimes a day.
Return to NordVPN’s checkout. The discount is applied to the 2-year plan; the order summary should show the reduced total and the renewal price.
Choose your tier and pay. Basic is the full VPN; Complete adds the antivirus, password manager and cloud storage. Our NordVPN Basic plan guide compares them.

If the verification fails or your group is not listed, the public 2-year deal at $94.23 for 27 months is the lowest regular price, and NordVPN’s own coupon codes (listed on our NordVPN coupons and deals page) do not beat it.

The Rules Worth Knowing

One discount per order. The checkout has a single coupon field, so the 15% does not stack with coupon-page codes or a YouTuber’s offer.
First term only. The renewal is the normal yearly price.
30-day money-back guarantee still applies. If NordVPN is not for you, our money-back guarantee guide shows how to get the payment back.
Worldwide, with local verification. NordVPN says the offer is global; Student Beans verifies in your own country.
Veterans are not named. NordVPN’s wording is “military officers”; try the verification before relying on it.

FAQ

Does NordVPN Have a Military Discount?

Yes. NordVPN’s student and employee discount page offers an extra 15% off its 2-year deal to military officers, alongside students, graduates, teachers, healthcare professionals and first responders. You verify your status through Student Beans, and the discount applies on top of the 2-year plan’s price.

Do Veterans Qualify for NordVPN’s Discount?

NordVPN’s page names military officers rather than veterans. Whether a veteran passes depends on the documents Student Beans accepts for the military category at the time you apply, so start the verification before you count on the discount. If it fails, the public 2-year deal is still the lowest regular price.

How Much Is NordVPN With the 15% Discount?

Take 15% off the 2-year plan you choose. In November 2026 that meant roughly $80 instead of $94.23 for 27 months of Basic, about $92 instead of $107.73 for Complete and about $160 instead of $188.73 for Prime, before tax; the checkout shows the exact figure. Renewals are charged at the normal yearly price.

Can I Combine the Discount With a Coupon Code or a YouTuber Link?

No. NordVPN’s checkout has one coupon field and the verification applies its own code, so the 15% does not stack with coupon-page codes or creator offers. The extra 15% on the 2-year deal is usually the better of the two anyway.

Is the Discount Available Outside the US?

Yes. NordVPN says the extra discount applies worldwide to the listed groups. Verification runs through Student Beans in your country, so the documents it accepts can differ from one country to the next.

The Bottom Line

If you serve, teach, treat patients, respond first or study, verify once with Student Beans and NordVPN’s 2-year plan drops to about $80 for 27 months of Basic. Everyone else gets the same plan for $94.23 through the public deal, with the same 30-day guarantee.
