NordVPN and Incogni: Is It Included, and Is It Worth It?

Incogni is available through NordVPN partnerships, but you should not assume your NordVPN plan includes it. Buy a combined offer only when the order explicitly lists Incogni and its subscription term. If you already have NordVPN, check your account before paying for a second data-removal subscription.

Check NordVPN’s Current Plans

For a new customer who needs both services, my starting choice is NordVPN Basic plus Incogni Standard, bought separately unless a working bundle offers better terms. If you only want your details removed from data-broker sites, you can buy Incogni without buying NordVPN.

Does NordVPN Include Incogni Right Now?

The answer depends on the offer, region, and subscription you bought. NordVPN’s main plan names alone are insufficient evidence that you will receive Incogni.

Compare what each purchase includes before choosing a bundle or separate subscriptions:

NordVPN advertises its Incogni partnership, while Incogni’s partner guidance describes Standard data removal in qualifying bundles, including an Ultra offer in selected markets. The landing page and plan name alone do not establish what your order includes.

This is why I would not buy a higher NordVPN tier solely because an older article says it includes Incogni. Confirm the product line, covered person, term, and renewal price in your own checkout. For an existing subscription, your receipt and account entitlements are more useful than today’s sales page.

What About the $4.49 Incogni Add-on?

You may encounter references to Incogni costing an extra $4.49 per month through NordVPN. Do not assume that add-on is available with every plan or in every region. Look for an explicit Incogni line in your account offer or order summary.

If it appears in your account or checkout, compare its full charge and renewal terms with buying Incogni directly. Also establish whether it provides Standard automated removals, a family subscription, or custom removals. A lower monthly headline does not answer those questions.

What Do NordVPN and Incogni Each Do?

They address different privacy problems. NordVPN provides a VPN connection for your device traffic. Incogni requests removal of personal records held by supported data brokers and people-search services.

NordVPN’s explanation of Incogni describes requests to businesses that hold your information. Connecting to a NordVPN server does not start those requests. You must activate Incogni and supply the details it needs to identify your records.

How Much Does Buying Both Separately Cost?

The following US offers are before applicable tax. NordVPN’s price excludes coupon discounts. Promotions and regional prices can differ, and the two subscriptions cover different introductory periods.

$190.11 does not buy 27 months of both products. It buys 27 months of NordVPN and 12 months of Incogni at these offers. If you keep annual Incogni renewal enabled at the displayed price, another $95.88 falls due after 12 months and again after 24 months.

That makes the payments through month 24 $381.87, assuming unchanged prices and no taxes. At that point you have paid for 27 months of NordVPN and 36 months of Incogni. The arithmetic matters when comparing this route with a bundle that covers both for the same term.

Incogni’s direct checkout displayed the same $95.88 annual renewal as its initial annual charge. The crossed-out $191.76 figure was not the renewal charge shown in that checkout. Always read the renewal sentence rather than infer it from a crossed-out price.

Which Purchase Makes Sense for You?

You Already Pay for NordVPN

Check Nord Account and your original receipt for an Incogni entitlement first. If it is included, follow the activation instructions below. A second purchase may be unnecessary.

If Incogni is absent, compare any upgrade offered inside your account with the standalone price. Look at the additional amount payable today, whether your NordVPN renewal changes, and how much Incogni service the upgrade actually adds. An advertised price for a new customer may not be the price for modifying an existing subscription.

You Need Both Services for the First Time

Start by choosing the VPN features you need. Basic is the sensible reference point when you want the VPN and already have your preferred antivirus or password manager. Our guide to what NordVPN includes explains the wider packages.

Then compare a confirmed Incogni bundle with the separate-purchase total above. A bundle is worth considering when the included data-removal plan suits you, its purchase route works, and its initial and renewal costs are competitive. There is little value in buying a larger security package whose extra products you will not use.

You Only Need Data Removal—or Need It for Several People

Buy Incogni directly if a VPN is not part of your requirements. You do not need to keep NordVPN connected for Incogni to contact brokers.

For more than one person, compare Incogni’s family options. NordVPN’s device allowance is not an Incogni family allowance. Likewise, a bundle containing Incogni Standard should not be assumed to include the custom-removal requests offered in Incogni Unlimited. The Incogni plan descriptions explain these distinctions.

Check Your Country Before Buying

Incogni’s current eligibility list covers residents of the United States and listed territories, Canada, the United Kingdom including the Isle of Man, the EU, Switzerland, Norway, Iceland, and Liechtenstein.

Residence and a VPN server location are different things. Connecting to a US VPN server does not make you eligible as a US resident. Use your actual details when setting up the service, and check the named plan’s regional restrictions before paying.

Coverage also varies by country. A large advertised broker count does not mean every listed broker has information about you or that every removal method is available where you live.

How to Activate Incogni After a NordVPN Purchase

For a qualifying partner purchase, Incogni’s account-linking instructions begin with its welcome email:

1. Confirm the order includes Incogni. Keep the receipt and note the email address used for the purchase.
2. Find the Incogni welcome email. Check spam and junk folders if it has not arrived.
3. Follow the account-setup link. Create the Incogni account through that invitation so the partner subscription can be linked.
4. Complete your removal profile and authorization. Incogni needs identifying information to request removals for the correct person.
5. Start data removal and check the dashboard. Paying for the bundle alone does not complete this setup.

Incogni’s getting-started guide explains the personal information and authorization required. Read that before buying if you are uncomfortable providing the details needed to match your records.

Existing Incogni customers should check for a subscription-extension email. The partner instructions say an existing subscription can be extended automatically; contact Incogni if the expected confirmation is missing. Avoid creating another paid account just to resolve an activation problem.

Who Handles Cancellation and Refunds?

Contact the company that sold you the subscription. Incogni’s bundle billing guidance says it cannot cancel auto-renewal or issue refunds for payments processed by NordVPN or Surfshark.

If you bought through NordVPN, manage the subscription with NordVPN. Our NordVPN cancellation guide explains the account flow. For a direct Incogni subscription, use Incogni’s billing settings or support.

When you buy separately, you have two subscriptions to manage. Turning off NordVPN renewal does not cancel Incogni renewal. Turning off auto-renewal is also different from requesting money back under the applicable refund policy.

My Recommendation

Choose NordVPN Basic for the VPN and add Incogni Standard for recurring broker removals if both solve a problem you have. Compare a bundle only after its order summary confirms the included services and full cost. Existing NordVPN customers should check their entitlements before buying anything else.

How We Checked This Guide

This comparison uses the providers’ purchase pages and official support documentation for eligibility, activation, and billing. During our October 27, 2026 check, the US Basic checkout had no Incogni add-on, and the linked EUR Incogni Standard bundle checkout returned an error, including after a reload. That was one checkout result, not proof that every regional bundle is unavailable. No account was created, payment submitted, or personal data submitted for removal.
