NordVPN Coupon & Promo Codes October 2026: Up to 75% Off

You don’t need a code for NordVPN’s biggest discount. Its public 2-year deal takes up to 75% off and adds 3 extra months, which brings the Basic plan to $3.49 a month – $94.23 for 27 months. The button below opens it with the discount already applied.

We also checked every other way to pay less on 1 October 2026: NordVPN’s own coupon codes, the extra 15% for students, teachers and the military, YouTuber links, referrals, the free trial and Black Friday. Every price below is in US dollars, before sales tax, as NordVPN’s checkout showed it that day.

Every NordVPN Coupon and Deal That Works Right Now

Two things are worth knowing before you choose. First, NordVPN’s discounts are built into the link or the page, so most of them need no code at all. Second, you can use one coupon per order: the checkout has a single coupon field, so codes don’t combine with each other or with a YouTuber link.

Which NordVPN Deal Should You Pick?

• For most people: the 2-year deal. It gives the most time before the first renewal, 27 months, and it’s the only 2-year discount we found on all three plans. Basic costs $94.23, Complete $121.23 and Ultra $177.93. Open the 2-year deal.
• For the smallest bill today: the coupon page’s 2-year Basic plan. It costs $74.16, $20.07 less than the public deal, but covers 24 months instead of 27, and we only found it for Basic. Both renew at the same price.
• For a shorter commitment: CYBERSEC or the 1-year plan. CYBERSEC buys 20 months for $89.80. The regular 1-year Basic plan costs $65.88 for 12 months, which is $5.49 a month.
• For a few months: SECUREINTERNET. Three months for $23.97 works out at $7.99 a month, well under the $14.99 monthly plan.
• If you study, teach, serve or work in healthcare: take the extra 15% off the 2-year deal.
• If you can wait a few weeks: last year’s Black Friday deal took the 2-year Basic plan to $80.73, $13.50 less than today, and it went live in mid-October.

Not sure which plan you need? Basic is the full VPN. Complete adds anti-malware and browsing protection, ad and tracker blocking, a password manager and 1 TB of encrypted cloud storage, and Ultra adds Incogni’s personal data removal on top. Our NordVPN price guide compares all three side by side.

NordVPN Coupon Codes: CYBERSEC and SECUREINTERNET

NordVPN publishes its own coupon codes on its coupon page, which it labelled a “Special October 2026 offer” when we checked. There are two codes and one code-free 2-year price:

To use one, open NordVPN’s coupon page and click Apply Code under the offer you want; the code then appears in the order summary by itself. NordVPN says the codes on that page can only be claimed there, so typing them into the coupon field of another checkout may not work.

Neither code beats the 2-year deal on price per month. They exist for people who don’t want to sign up for two years, and CYBERSEC’s plan renews for more ($149.88 a year against $139.08 for the 2-year Basic plan).

Is There a NordVPN Coupon That Beats the 2-Year Deal?

Only on the first bill. The coupon page’s 2-year Basic plan is the cheapest way in, at $74.16 for 24 months ($3.09 a month). The public deal costs $94.23 for 27 months ($3.49 a month), so you pay $20.07 more up front and get 3 more months before your first renewal. After that, both renew at $139.08 a year.

Codes promising 80% or 90% off, “lifetime” subscriptions or free premium accounts aren’t real NordVPN offers. NordVPN doesn’t sell a lifetime plan, and the free accounts shared online are often stolen ones that get locked.

Why Your NordVPN Coupon Code Isn’t Working

1. It has expired. NordVPN’s coupon page changes its offers often, and older codes stop working without notice.
2. It belongs to a different page. Coupon-page codes apply from that page, and a YouTuber’s offer only applies through that creator’s own link.
3. It’s for a different plan length. CYBERSEC is tied to the 20-month plan and SECUREINTERNET to the 3-month plan.
4. You’re adding a second code. The checkout has one coupon field, so a code won’t combine with another code or with a YouTuber link.
5. You’re buying in an app. Coupon codes are entered at NordVPN’s website checkout. Purchases made through the App Store or Google Play follow the store’s own prices and refund rules.

NordVPN Discounts for Students, Teachers, Military and Healthcare Workers

NordVPN takes an extra 15% off its 2-year deal for six groups, worldwide:

• Students
• Graduates
• Teachers
• Healthcare professionals
• First responders
• Military personnel

You verify your status with NordVPN’s verification partner before you buy, and the discount is applied at checkout. Students can follow the steps in our NordVPN student discount guide.

YouTuber and Podcast NordVPN Codes

If you heard about NordVPN in a video or podcast, the creator’s link gives the same prices as the public 2-year deal with 4 extra months instead of 3. There’s no code to type: the offer is built into the link in the video’s description.

Our list of creators running NordVPN deals shows who has an offer this year, including Kurzgesagt, The Rest Is Politics and NetworkChuck. If you can’t find the video, the public deal costs exactly the same.

Refer a Friend: 3 Extra Months

If a friend already uses NordVPN, their referral link adds 3 free months to a 1- or 2-year plan, or 1 month to a monthly plan. Your friend gets 3 free months too, so it’s the one offer that also rewards someone you know.

NordVPN Black Friday: Should You Wait?

NordVPN hadn’t announced its 2026 Black Friday deal when we checked on 1 October 2026, but last year’s timeline is a good guide. According to Tom’s Guide, the 2025 deal went live on 16 October 2025 and ran until 10 December, well past Black Friday itself:

• Basic: $2.99 a month, $80.73 for 27 months, against $94.23 today
• 3 extra months on every 2-year plan, the same as now

If you need a VPN this week, the $13.50 you might save isn’t worth going without. If you can wait, keep an eye on our NordVPN Black Friday page, which we update as soon as the 2026 deal goes live.

Free Trial and Money-Back Guarantee

Two safety nets work alongside every deal on this page:

• A 7-day free trial in 15 countries, including the US, UK, Canada and Australia. It’s for new customers paying by card or PayPal on a 1- or 2-year plan; cancel before the 7 days are up and you pay nothing. Our 7-day trial guide walks through it.
• A 30-day money-back guarantee for first-time customers. If you bought through Apple’s App Store, the refund goes through Apple instead. Here’s how to cancel and get your money back.

The Bottom Line

Skip the hunt for secret codes. NordVPN’s public 2-year deal is the simplest pick, at up to 75% off with 3 extra months on every plan. If you only want Basic and the smallest first bill, the coupon page’s 2-year price is $20.07 lower; for a shorter plan, use one of its codes. Take the extra 15% if you qualify, and wait for Black Friday only if you can manage without a VPN until then.
