NordVPN lists 70+ Singapore servers, so you can use a Singapore IP abroad or keep a local connection while protecting traffic in Singapore. For either job, I would start with Basic and pay extra only for features you need.

The current US reference offer is US$3.49 per month, paid as US$94.23 for 27 months. Your Singapore checkout can differ. The server details, billing comparison, and setup below explain what to check before buying.

Check NordVPN’s Current Offer

Checked October 25, 2026 against NordVPN’s published information and current US offer. We did not run speed or streaming tests from a Singapore connection.

Choose the Connection That Fits Your Singapore Plans

The server you choose depends on where you are and which IP address you need.

Your situationConnection to chooseWhat to expect
You live in or are visiting SingaporeSingapore when you want to keep a Singapore IPVPN encryption while websites see a Singapore VPN IP
You are abroad and need a Singapore IPSingaporeA Singapore VPN IP; websites still control access
You are visiting Singapore and need your home country’s IPYour home countryThat country’s VPN IP, with a longer route if it is far away
Your workplace requires one fixed Singapore IPSingapore dedicated IP add-onAn address assigned to you, subject to your workplace’s approval

For a hotel stay near Changi or a café work session, you usually need an encrypted connection rather than an American or British IP. Choose Singapore explicitly when the IP’s country matters. The app’s automatic connection can choose another location.

What NordVPN Offers in Singapore

NordVPN’s Singapore server page advertised 70+ servers when checked. Its main server list showed one Singapore city location. These are provider listings, and the available servers can change.

You can connect through the regular country list. You do not need to buy a dedicated IP simply to get a Singapore IP address.

NordVPN also says all standard servers now support P2P traffic. Its current P2P documentation explains why recent apps have removed the separate P2P category. Older instructions telling you to find a Singapore P2P button may no longer match your app.

A regular subscription supports up to 10 simultaneous devices. A phone, laptop, and tablet therefore fit comfortably within one account’s overall limit. A paid dedicated IP has an additional protocol limit, covered below.

How Much Does NordVPN Cost in Singapore?

Check the total shown for your billing country. The prices below are a US reference checked on October 25, 2026, not a Singapore quote or an exchange-rate conversion.

US reference offer on October 25, 2026. Prices in US dollars; sales tax may apply.
PlanAdvertised monthly equivalentFirst paymentStated renewal
BasicUS$3.49US$94.23 for 27 monthsUS$139.08/year
CompleteUS$3.99US$107.73 for 27 monthsUS$219.48/year

The offer includes three extra months on the two-year term. The monthly figure spreads the upfront payment over those 27 months; it is not a monthly billing option. Introductory and renewal prices differ. Check the current offer terms before paying.

Basic is my starting recommendation for Singapore users who want the VPN. A Singapore connection alone gives you little reason to buy a larger bundle. Consider Complete if you will use its additional products, after checking which features are available on your device and in your country.

If you only need a VPN for a short visit, compare the full cost of a shorter plan with the upfront commitment above. A lower monthly equivalent can still mean a larger payment for a week’s trip.

Check the Billing Route Before Paying

Buying through NordVPN’s website and subscribing inside an app can produce different offers. The Singapore Apple App Store listing lists separate in-app purchases in Singapore dollars. Those listings do not establish the price of NordVPN’s website offer.

At checkout, check:

  1. Country and currency: use your correct billing details and read the currency label.
  2. Total due now: include any tax displayed and any optional add-ons.
  3. Paid term and renewal: confirm the months included, renewal date, and renewal amount.
  4. Who handles cancellation and refunds: keep the receipt for the billing service you use.

NordVPN’s refund guidance describes a 30-day money-back guarantee for first-time customers. App Store refunds go through Apple. Canceling renewal and requesting a refund are separate steps; our NordVPN cancellation guide explains the distinction.

How to Set Up NordVPN for Singapore

  1. Install the official app on the device you will use. Use NordVPN’s download page or your platform’s official app store, then sign in.
  2. Allow the VPN configuration when your device prompts you. The app needs this permission to create the connection.
  3. Choose the country for your task. Select Singapore for a Singapore IP. If you are visiting Singapore and need an IP from home, select your home country instead.
  4. Start with the automatic protocol setting or NordLynx. NordVPN documents NordLynx support on Windows, macOS, Linux, iOS, and Android. Menu names vary by platform and version.
  5. Confirm the connection before opening the service you need. Check the app’s connected status and use an IP address check to confirm the public IP’s country.

Set up auto-connect if you want the app to reconnect on public Wi-Fi. Review the kill switch settings for your platform too; the controls differ between apps.

For protection beyond one browser, install the device app. NordVPN’s browser extension guidance says its extensions secure only browser traffic. A Chrome extension will not cover a separate banking or messaging app.

Singapore Apps, Banking, and Streaming

Use a Singapore server as your starting point when a local service expects a Singapore IP. Then test the actual app. An IP address is only one signal: a service can also check your account, device location, or whether the address belongs to a VPN.

Do not buy solely on a promise of guaranteed banking or streaming access. We have not verified those outcomes from Singapore for this guide.

mewatch illustrates why the distinction matters. Mediacorp’s mewatch terms generally restrict content and services to consumption in Singapore unless otherwise specified. A Singapore VPN IP does not change those terms or prove that a particular program will play abroad.

If a Local App Stops Working

First try a different Singapore server and reopen the app. If the service rejects VPN connections, follow its support guidance.

On Windows, Android, and Android TV, NordVPN supports app exclusions through split tunneling. An excluded app uses your regular connection, so its traffic loses VPN protection. This can be useful while you are physically in Singapore and want one local app to use your Singapore internet connection.

iOS and macOS do not offer the same app-based split tunneling. NordVPN confirms this in its platform guidance. Linux offers port and subnet allowlisting, which works differently. Our split tunneling guide covers the setup options.

If you are overseas, excluding an app exposes your overseas connection. It will not give that app a Singapore IP.

Is a Singapore Dedicated IP Worth Buying?

Consider it when you need an address that stays assigned to you, such as an IP your workplace can allowlist. Ask the workplace to approve a consumer VPN address before paying for the add-on.

NordVPN’s dedicated IP documentation lists Singapore as an available location. A regular server uses an IP shared with other customers; the paid dedicated address is assigned to you.

There is a useful restriction to check before buying for several devices:

  • OpenVPN TCP or UDP: up to 10 simultaneous dedicated IP connections.
  • NordLynx: one simultaneous dedicated IP connection.
  • IKEv2: dedicated IP is unsupported.

NordVPN also says the purchased dedicated IP is linked to your email. It does not promise that every bank or streaming service will accept the address.

For ordinary browsing or an occasional Singapore connection abroad, I would try the shared servers first. Our dedicated IP guide explains the broader tradeoffs.

Check Performance on Your Own Singapore Connection

A local server is a sensible first choice when you do not need a foreign IP. Connecting from Singapore to Europe or North America sends traffic along a much longer route. That can matter for calls and games even when a download finishes quickly.

Before relying on NordVPN for work or a trip, make a short comparison on the device and network you will actually use:

  • Test without the VPN, then repeat on a Singapore server using the same test destination.
  • Compare download, upload, and latency. Try your work call or other essential app as well.
  • Repeat at your usual busy time and try another Singapore server if the result is poor.
  • Test a foreign location separately if that is the connection you plan to use.

These checks give you a useful personal baseline. The server count alone cannot tell you what speed you will get on home broadband, mobile data, or a hotel network. This guide does not claim a measured Singapore speed result.

My Recommendation for Singapore

I would choose NordVPN Basic for a regular Singapore VPN connection, public Wi-Fi use, or a shared Singapore IP while traveling. Check the actual services you depend on during the applicable refund window.

Pay for a dedicated IP when you have a specific requirement for one fixed address. If you need more than 10 simultaneous devices, compare the account limits in our Surfshark vs. NordVPN comparison before committing.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I get a Singapore IP address with NordVPN while abroad?

Yes. Connect to Singapore in the NordVPN app to use a Singapore VPN IP address. That changes your public IP location; individual websites can still use account details, device location, or VPN detection to decide whether to allow access.

How much does NordVPN cost in Singapore?

The US reference offer checked on October 25, 2026 was US$94.23 upfront for 27 months of Basic, equivalent to US$3.49 per month. Listed renewal was US$139.08 per year, and sales tax could apply. This is a US quote, not a confirmed Singapore price. Check your billing country, currency, tax, and renewal terms at checkout.

Does a Singapore dedicated IP work on 10 devices?

NordVPN says its paid dedicated IP supports up to 10 simultaneous connections through OpenVPN TCP or UDP, but only one through NordLynx. This differs from the regular VPN account's overall 10-device limit.

Will NordVPN guarantee access to Singapore streaming or banking apps?

No. A Singapore VPN IP does not guarantee that a streaming service, bank, or other app will accept the connection. Account requirements, territory rules, location checks, and VPN blocking can still apply. Test the particular services you need before relying on them during a trip.
