Using A Mobile Device & Data Plan
When you’re banned from a server, Discord blocks both your username and the IP address from accessing that particular server.
So, simply creating a new account won’t do you any good.
That’s because the IP address will still be blacklisted.
For instance, if you were banned while connected to your home WiFi, you’ll either need to use a VPN or connect to a different network.
That brings us to mobile data.
After getting flagged, you can hop on to your mobile device, create a new account, and get back into the server.
Just follow the steps below:
Step 1: Disconnect WiFi on your mobile device and turn on mobile data.
Step 2: Install the Discord app on your mobile device.
Step 3: Launch the Discord app.
Step 4: Create a new account with a different email address.
Step 5: Now, log into your new Discount account and join the server that you were banned from.
As easy as that!
How to Create a New Discord Account?
Whether you were banned from Discord or a specific Discord server, you’ll need a new account to regain access.
And you have to remember that most Discord servers are moderated by human admins. So, while it’s easier to trick a computer, you have to be careful not to draw the attention of the admin who blocked you the first time.
When creating a new Discord account, you should start by selecting a username that does not resemble your banned one.
So, don’t from something like fast_and_the_curious to fast_and_the_curious2. It doesn’t take a genius to know that you’ll have very high chances of getting nailed again.
Sometimes a Discord ban can be handed out in error. If so, then you have nothing much to worry about.
But at times, it can be due to behavior. Play well with others to avoid being banned again.

Why Does Discord Ban Users?
If Discord determines that you’ve violated its terms of service, then they can ban you from accessing the platform.
The most common reason for Discord bans is spamming. In a 2020 transparency report, Discord revealed that they had banned more than 4 million accounts between January and June.
Of those, a total of 4,083,444 were banned for spam. That means unsolicited DMs and unwanted friend requests are what’s likely to get you banned by Discord.
Also, messages asking users to add a bot to a server will likely land you in trouble.
Other reasons why Discord bans users include:
Raiding: Discord takes action against all members who participate in the raiding of another server.
Exploitative content: Posting non-consensual intimate photos of others.
Harassment: Creating a new account to message and insult someone who’s already blocked you. Harassment also includes organizing and promoting servers around hate speech.
Threatening Behavior: Sending threatening messages or implying violence against another user.
NSFW: Sharing NSFW content on a channel that’s not age-gated.
Hacks/Cheats: Selling stolen game accounts or distributing cheats for popular games.
Malware: Sending a trojan virus or attempting to hack, phish, or DDoS other users.
Doxing: Sharing the physical address of another user or encouraging others to prank-call the police on them.
Also, you can be banned for sharing copyrighted content and encouraging self-harm. Basically, doing or promoting anything illegal.
Unfortunately, you can still get banned on Discord even after avoiding all the above violations.
Sometimes the Discord bot can get it all wrong, in which case you will need to contact customer support to get your account back.
At other times, a server admin can ban you for no good reason at all. If that happens, you’ll still be able to access other servers on Discord.
However, if you need to regain access to the server you were banned from, you can easily do so using any of the three solutions in this guide.
What Happens When You Get Banned on Discord?
Two things can happen when you get banned on Discord – you either won’t be able to access a particular server or the entire platform.
It all comes down to the type of ban.
If you encounter the error “Email – This account has been disabled. Please check your email” then your account has been deleted.
In this case, you’ll need to create a new Discord account. And remember, you’ll need to use a VPN to get a new IP. Otherwise, the new account will be banned too.

Can I Use a Free VPN to Unblock Discord?
While you can use a free VPN to unblock Discord, there is a catch. The biggest one is that most free VPNs offer a limited number of IP addresses.
And if you get assigned an IP that has already been blacklisted, your account will be banned too.
Additionally, free VPN services are slow and as such, are not suitable for VOIP applications. And they perform even worse from a privacy and security standpoint.
Everything considered. I wouldn’t recommend using a free VPN with Discord.
