How to Use NordVPN in Denmark?

NordVPN encrypts your connection while using public Wi-Fi at Aarhus and hides your internet activities from TDC group, Telia, and other Danish ISPs.

Here’s how:

1. Buy a NordVPN subscription. I recommend a multiyear plan to save more. Grab these amazing discounts!

2. Download and install the NordVPN app for your device. I’ll use MacOS for this guide.

3. Launch the app and log in with your account information.
4. Go to Settings > General, click the dropdown menu from “VPN Protocol,” and select NordLynx. NordLynx is NordVPN’s best protocol for Denmark because it’s fast enough for accessing Ekstra Bladet and catching up with the latest Danish news.

5. In the NordVPN app Settings, click Kill Switch. Click the plus sign (+) to add apps you want NordVPN to quit when the VPN connection drops. Enable the button that says, “Quit apps in this list if connection to NordVPN is dropped.”

6. On NordVPN’s main screen, select a Preset that best describes your needs. For instance, if you want to stream shows on Hulu in Denmark, choose “Speed.”

7. Choose your preferred server location from the Country List. Click to connect.
8. That’s it! Enjoy using NordVPN in Denmark.

What’s the Best NordVPN Server for Denmark?

The best NordVPN server for Denmark depends on your needs.

For instance, connect to any Copenhagen server for faster speed and to access Danish TV channels and other local content. You can also connect to any NordVPN US server to unblock Netflix US or UK servers to access BBC iPlayer.

I tested one of the VPN servers in Denmark with a base speed of 10Mbps.

Here’s the result:

I also watched Babylon Berlin on DR TV while connected to a NordVPN Denmark server and didn’t notice any buffering or VPN connection drops.

Does NordVPN Have P2P Servers in Denmark?

Yes. NordVPN now allows P2P on all its standard servers, including those in Copenhagen, Denmark, so you can unblock pirate sites blacklisted by TDC Group, Stofa, and other ISPs while simultaneously hiding your P2P activities.

To connect to a NordVPN server in Denmark for P2P:

1. Open the NordVPN app.

2. Find Denmark in the Country List. Older app versions also listed P2P under Specialty Servers (pictured below), but NordVPN has removed that category.

3. Pick Denmark, or open its locations to choose a specific server (the screenshot below shows the old P2P list).

4. Select any Denmark server and click to connect.

I tested NordVPN’s Denmark #203 P2P server against my torrent client Deluge, and downloaded a 2.7 GB file in about 28 minutes.
