How to Unblock Pandora With Surfshark?
I tried accessing Pandora without a VPN, but I got the “Pandora isn’t available in this country right now…” error:

- Install, launch, and log in to your Surfshark account.
- Enable the kill switch to stop Pandora from blocking your account if Surfshark unexpectedly disconnects. Go to Settings > VPN Settings > Kill Switch.
- Connect to a US server. I recommend New York, as it unblocked Pandora immediately in my tests.
- Sign in to your Pandora account and stream new music, such as Whisky Drink by Jason Aldean or Yes I’m A Mess by AJR.
Surfshark Not Working With Pandora? (Troubleshooting)
Surfshark works flawlessly with Pandora. However, some users report getting locked out after using Surfshark. Surfshark’s ad-blocking feature (CleanWeb) might be the culprit.

How to Disable Surfshark’s CleanWeb Ad Blocker for Pandora?
Audio and visual ads support free Pandora accounts. However, Surfshark comes with CleanWeb, an ad-blocking feature that’s (usually) automatically enabled.
Therefore, CleanWeb might interfere with your Pandora streaming session.
To deactivate CleanWeb, go to Settings > VPN Settings > CleanWeb and toggle the switch off.
With CleanWeb disabled, I easily accessed Pandora and streamed music without issues. However, I got an average of 3 to 6 audio ads per hour (but no visual ads).
Use Surfshark’s Camouflage Mode With Pandora
Surfshark’s Camouflage mode removes any VPN traces from your connection, making it easy to bypass content filtering on Pandora.
To use Surfshark’s Camouflage Mode, connect to any servers using OpenVPN.
Go to Settings > VPN Settings > Protocol > OpenVPN (TCP or UDP).
Use Pandora With Surfshark Kill Switch Enabled
Pandora is limited to users in the United States and will actively block other countries based on IP address. So, if your real IP address leaks, there’s a chance Pandora will block you.
To prevent this, enable Surfshark’s kill switch. Go to Settings > VPN Settings > Kill Switch. Toggle it on.
Once activated, the feature will work quietly in the background by shutting off your internet if your VPN connection drops.
I wanted to see this in action, so I disconnected/paused my VPN connection while the kill switch was on to see if the internet would drop.
As expected, the VPN blocked my internet connection, preventing me from streaming my Pandora playlist.
