The official status

Roblox in Turkey

A court in Adana ordered Roblox blocked on 7 August 2024, at prosecutors’ request. Turkey’s justice minister cited content that could lead to the abuse of children. The order covers the website and the Roblox apps.

Roblox registered a Turkish company in 2025 while the block stayed in place. In June 2026 some outlets reported that Roblox had reopened, but two days later the telecoms authority’s records still listed the court block, and Turkey’s family minister said Roblox had been discussing a Turkey-specific age check with her ministry.

What our daily test shows

Türk Telekom shows a block page in place of the site. One of our test machines on Turkcell Superonline gets through anyway, most likely through a VPN or a filter-dodging tool, while its neighbour on the same network, and an independent test in September 2026, find Roblox blocked. Whenever the rest of Turkey is blocked, we count Superonline as blocking.

How to use Roblox in Turkey

A VPN connects you through a server in another country, so a block on Roblox in Turkey no longer applies. Where VPNs themselves are blocked, you need one that can disguise its traffic, and you should set it up before you travel.

Changes for Roblox in Turkey

No confirmed changes since monitoring began on 29 Sep 2026. When a block appears or lifts, and a re-check on several machines agrees, it shows up here.

Method

How we test

  • Every day, test machines on Türk Telekom and Turkcell Superonline home connections open www.roblox.com.
  • A failure counts only when it happens twice on the same network, while the site opens from other countries.
  • A change is published only after re-checks a few hours later and again the next day, on several machines per provider, confirm it. It’s dated from the first sighting.
  • Test machines caught getting around blocks, through a VPN or a filter-dodging tool, are set aside.
  • We test the website over home broadband. The app, calls and mobile networks can behave differently.
